On July 22, 2022, Infection Prevention and Control Foundation in collaboration with Hepatitis and Infection Control Program, DGHS, Punjab inaugurated the Hepatitis Clinic at Al-Mustafa Trust Medical Center, Lahore.

The clinic was inaugurated by M. Sameer Shafi, MD (Chairman, Board of Trustees, IPAC Foundation), Shahaan Shafi (President, IPAC Foundation-USA Chapter), Dr. Shahid Hussain Magsi (Program Manager, Hepatitis and Infection Control Program, Punjab), and Brig. Mian Azhar Mahmood (Regional Director, Al Mustafa Trust Medical Center, Lahore).

Asia Kausar (Chief Operating Officer, Infection Prevention and Control Foundation) and Nimrah Faisal (Program Manager, Infectious Diseases Centers) presented the services and operational flow of the Hepatitis Clinic.

The Hepatitis clinic will provide free-of-cost diagnostic and treatment services for Hepatitis B & C to the patients. Moreover, the clinic will also provide counseling and awareness regarding Hepatitis B and C. IPAC Foundation plan to educate people about the vitality of timely diagnosis, proper treatment, and precautionary measures to break the chain of transmission.
