Overview
On May 29, 2024 IPAC Foundation in collaboration with The health Foundation (THF) organized a Hepatitis B & C Screening Camp at Medsage Welfare Clinic, Garhi Shahu, Lahore where a total of 87 individuals underwent screening, detecting 6 cases of Hepatitis B (02) and C (04). Blood samples were obtained from individuals who tested positive for hepatitis for PCR testing and provided with follow-up plans and counseling sessions tailored to their individual requirements.
Additionally, volunteers from VFAHT-KEMU actively engaged in raising public awareness about hepatitis within nearby residential areas through the distribution of informative pamphlets and the interactive sessions.
