On September 10, 2024, VFAHT-RLKUMC in collaboration with the Patient Welfare Society RLKUMC, organized a Hepatitis B, C & HIV Screening Camp and seminar at Hameed Latif Teaching Hospital for World Hepatitis Day. A total of 91 individuals were screened during the camp, identifying 1 Hepatitis B case and 5 Hepatitis C cases. All positive cases were referred to the Hepatitis Clinic Lahore for free treatment.

The seminar, led by Principal Prof. Dr. Arif Mehmood Siddiqui and Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Faheem Mahmood, provided valuable insights into hepatitis prevention, transmission, and treatment. This impactful event successfully raised awareness and enhanced knowledge about hepatitis, furthering the mission to promote proactive health measures and accessible care.
