Free Community Health Camp

Chiraghdin Community Health Centre & Surriya Shafi Dental Clinic

November 23, 2024

Chak Santhal Bajwat, Sialkot

Overview

On November 23, 2024, Chiraghdin Community Health Centre and Surriya Shafi Dental Clinic organized a Free Community Health Camp (CHC) in Chak Santhal Bajwat, a remote village 30Km away from Sialkot.

The village lacks basic health facilities, which forces the villagers to travel to Sialkot for medical examinations and treatment. The purpose of the free Community Health Camps (CHC) is to make general, hepatitis, and oral screenings more accessible to the Bajwat community.

The camp provided free medical and hepatitis screenings, along with dental checkups, serving 130 individuals. Out of these 65 received general medical checkups, 22 underwent dental checkups, and 8 were diagnosed with Hepatitis B and C.
