To commemorate World Hepatitis Day 2025, IPAC Foundation, in collaboration with Al-Mustafa Trust (AMT) organized a Hepatitis Awareness Seminar followed by an Awareness Walk. The event raised public awareness about hepatitis, its transmission, and the importance of prevention, early detection, and treatment.

Dr. Razia Kousar, Medical Officer at IPAC Foundation’s Hepatitis Clinic Lahore, addressed the participants and highlighted key information about the types of hepatitis, modes of transmission, preventive measures, the role of vaccination, and available treatment options.

Following the seminar, an Awareness Walk was held where participants engaged with the public, addressed their queries to promote hepatitis awareness.

We were honored by the presence of Dr. Sobia Altaf, Project Director at AMT, and gratefully acknowledge the ongoing support of The Health Foundation (THF).

VFAHT volunteers from Rahbar Medical and Dental College, Lahore, also took part in the event as part of their field learning. Students practiced basic screening techniques, and while learning, they successfully conducted a few screenings, gaining valuable hands-on experience while contributing meaningfully to the cause.
