On October 29, 2024, VFAHT-BMU, in collaboration with Heal a Smile, organized a comprehensive Dental and Free Hepatitis Screening Camp at Raast Welfare Society School, Karachi. This initiative offered free dental checkups, oral hygiene education, and Hepatitis B and C screenings for workers, staff, faculty, and students of the school.

The camp successfully screened 56 individuals, identifying one Hepatitis C positive case. Alongside the screenings, a counseling and awareness session was conducted on Hepatitis, emphasizing prevention and management strategies. For primary school children, an engaging session was held to teach the steps of proper handwashing, aiming to prevent waterborne infections such as Typhoid.

This collaborative effort highlighted the importance of holistic healthcare, focusing on oral hygiene, infectious disease prevention, and community education to foster healthier lifestyles.
