Overview

Typhoid is a bacterial infection caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi and spreads through contaminated food or water. Without any prompt treatment, typhoid can be fatal. Increasing resistance to different types of antibiotics is making the treatment more complicated. Access to safe water and adequate sanitation, health education, appropriate hygiene among food handlers and typhoid vaccination are all effective strategies for promotion and control of typhoid. This webinar explores the updates and guidelines regarding the prevention and control of Typhoid fever. IPAC Foundation invites you all to join us on our Facebook page and YouTube channel to watch the webinar live.
Each participant will be eligible for a Certificate of Participation with 02 CME credits (Issued by the University of Health Sciences, Lahore) after successful registration and assessment.
