Course Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has infected millions and caused over a million deaths across the world. There has been a scientific consensus that the most effective way to stop a pandemic is the introduction of a vaccine. Scientists across the globe have worked rapidly to develop an effective vaccine. It is now crucial that the COVID-19 vaccine is safely delivered to the entire world as soon as possible. This course will give healthcare professionals a deeper understanding of the development process for new vaccines. It will also provide detailed information on how the vaccines work, storage requirements, preparation, administration, and possible side effects.

Each participant will be eligible for a Course Certificate with 10 CME credits  (Issued by the University of Health Sciences, Lahore and Pakistan Medical Commission) after successful completion of the certification course.

  • Basics of mRNA, Mechanism and development of mRNA vaccines, Role of mRNA vaccines in the prevention of the future pandemics

Assignment

Assignment will be in form of a writing task on a particular topic with 800-word limit. The assignment may take up to 180 minutes to complete including researching, assorting, and writing. All students will be able to complete and submit the assignments at their pace and convenience until the assessment day.

Assessment

Assessment will be taken online through a multiple-choice questionnaire. The assessment will be timed, and students will have to submit the assessment before the end time.
